Dear Friends & Supporters,
Thank you for all your help, your encouragement, your campaign contributions and your faith in me in my race for the NC House 64 seat.
While we did not win the prize, we certainly all fought a very tough race against an entrenched incumbent. I was humbled by the outpouring of support from so many, both those I knew and those I had just met or never met. I know so much of this support comes from the fact that you and I know in our hearts that District 64 needs a change in representation. The current representative will just continue his antics … antics that will cost the citizens of all of Alamance County dearly. I can only hope that by the time the next election comes more of the voters in our District will realize this and vote for change.
To the 35, 706 people in District 64 that came out and voted I applaud you. You were a part of history in so many ways. To those of you who honored me with your vote, I give a very special thank you.
Since November 4 so many people have called and encouraged me to run again. I don’t know what the future will hold, but I do know that something changed in Alamance County this election, and I truly know that something changed in me. We will see what comes of that.
